Operation Holiday Stocking Special Request: Medical Supplies

In addition to the usual items, this year for Operation Holiday Stocking we have a request for much needed medical and medicinal supplies for first aid to be included in the stockings (portable, single dose items that can be carried with them), as well as more stockings for women.

While gathering items for your stockings please include the following:

  • gauze bandages/field bandages
  • various sizes of adhesive bandages/bandaids/butterfly bandages
  • hemostatic bandages and agents that help stop bleeding (Quick Clot/Celox)
  • individual iodine/alcohol/antiseptic wipes
  • individual doses of acetaminophen, ibuprofen, aspirin, and other medicinal medications
  • adhesive tape
  • antibacterial ointments/disinfectants/burn creams
  • foot powder
  • feminine hygiene products

DO NOT sew stockings closed! Instead use a safety pin to secure the top. Please include a monetary donation to help offset the shipping costs.

All stockings will be given to Operation Jersey Cares. Instructions for delivery will be in the September issue of the ALMANAC. Thank you in advance for your support of our Troops.
