NJSFWC State Fall Conference 2019

What a wonderful, informative day!

Over 200 clubwomen gathered on Monday, October 21, 2019 at Battleground Country Club, Manalapan, NJ. President Mary Wolfe, Southern District Vice President Gwen Lewis, and State Fall Conference Chairman Susan Fosdick greeted us.

The highlight of the Conference was Brittney Bray, who received a standing ovation. She told us her personal story of being taken into foster care as a teenager and overcoming anger and multiple issues with the help of a CASA volunteer.

We heard from representatives of our Special State Project – CASA of NJ (Court Appointed Special Advocates of New Jersey), Rachel Paulson from Hands on the World Global, and Barbara McCloskey, Third Vice President and State Membership Chairman.

Several Community Service Program Chairmen also spoke: Ann Brown, Education; Carole Speechley, Legislation/Resolutions; Susan Chambers, Home Life; and Laura Badger, Honors.

The afternoon Keynote Speaker was Psychic Medium and Author Karl Petry. In his own words Karl told the story of his amazing gift, from shocking experiences in childhood to deeply moving experiences in today’s times.

The day was a great success.
