The 128th Annual Convention of the New Jersey State Federation of Women’s Clubs of GFWC will take place April 24-26, 2022 at the Tropicana Atlantic City. The Convention will open Sunday afternoon at 1:30 p.m. and will adjourn at the close of the business session Tuesday.

All Club Presidents should have received the Convention Materials packet by USPS mail in February.

Registration

All attendees, including Delegates, Alternates, Members, Guests and Visitors must register as soon after arrival as possible.

Credentials must be worn at all meetings, programs, workshops and in the exhibit area.

Delegate Registration must be sent in accordance with Article XI of the Bylaws. A Registration Sheet is enclosed. The names of the Delegates and Alternates must be received by the Chairman of Credentials and Registration, Cynthia Blumenkrantz, 27 E. Cliff Street, Somerville, NJ 08876, postmarked no later than April 6, 2022.

Each Delegate and Alternate will receive HER OWN Credential Card at the Credentials and Registration Desk.

Registration Fee of Delegates, Alternates, Members or Guests/Visitors is $30.00 if postmarked by March 30, 2022. If postmarked between March 31and April 6, 2022, the Registration Fee is $40.00. No registration fee will be accepted by mail postmarked after April 6, 2022. On-site registration for members or guests/visitors will be $40.00. No on-site registration for Delegates and Alternates will be available.

The Daily Registration Fee is $15.00 if postmarked by March 30, 2022. If postmarked between March 31 and April 6 2022, the Daily Registration Fee is $20.00. No registration fee will be accepted by mail postmarked after April 6, 2022. On-site Daily Registration for members or guests/visitors will be $20.00.

No on-site registration for delegates or alternates will be available.

If an alternate is to become a delegate, this change can only be made by the Credentials and Registration Chairman at the Registration Desk, and must be made no later than 10:00 a.m. Monday. Only delegates are permitted to vote at the Business Sessions. Delegates and Alternates must be listed on the Voting Registration Sheet returned by the clubs.

Clubs are requested to study the Proposed Amendments to the Bylaws (included in the CALL) and the Resolutions (mailed separately to Club Presidents) to ensure that their Delegates are informed of the issues.

NOTE: These are the only copies of the proposed revisions to the Bylaws and Resolutions you will receive. Please bring them to Convention.

Meal Tickets

Tickets will not be mailed. They are to be picked up at the Credentials and Registration Desk. Tickets must be purchased in advance. Special meal requests must be made in advance on the Registration Form. No special meal requests will be considered on-site.

  • Sunday Box Lunch: $20.00
  • Sunday Dinner – Women of Achievement Award Ceremony & Honoring State EX Club, Junior EX Club and EMD EX Club Members: $50.00
  • Monday Box Lunch: $20.00
  • Monday Banquet Honoring Club Presidents and EMD Chairmen: $60.00

Meals are open to all Federation Members, Visitors / Non-Members.

All room reservations are to be made directly with the Tropicana Atlantic City before March 24, 2022 by calling 1-888-516-2215 (8am-2am EST, 7 days a week), Group name: NJSFWC 2022 Group code: ST04WC2

Single or Double Occupancy: $83.67 per night No cots are available. These rates include the Atlantic City room tax of 14% and the $10.00 Tourism Promotion/occupancy/resort fee.

Monday: 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., 6:00 p.m. to 6:45 p.m.
Tuesday: 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.

Federation Exhibits

Check–in Sunday: 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Open Monday: 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m., 12:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Pick-up Tuesday: 8:00 a.m. to 9:15 a.m.

NOTE: Positively no exhibits may be removed before Tuesday morning
