Something New!!

Let’s have some fun with the Education and Libraries Departments’ new Between the Pages book club. This is a book club just for NJSFWC members and clubs! It will be a fun way for your club’s book club or individual club members to read, recommend and receive a certificate for their participation.

There are two categories

  • Club Book Club
  • Individual Members

Here are the rules:

  1. Register with this Chairman by sending your name, name of club and District as an individual member or register your own club’s Book Club with the Book Club’s name, name of club and District, as a group to this State Education and Libraries Chairman, Joan Murdock at murdock@njsfwc.org.    .
  2. Pick your own book, from whatever genre you like.
  3. Every month submit to the State Education and Libraries Chairman, Joan Murdock at murdock@njsfwc.org the Title, Author of the book and a short 50 word review of the books you have read that month. Use the Between the Pages reporting form found in this ALMANAC and on the website. Club Book Clubs only need to send in one form for each book the club reads.
  4. Certificates will be awarded at your DISTRICT Spring Councils to the club Book Club and to those registered as individual members. The categories for certificates are:
    • Category 1:  1-10 books read
    • Category 2: 11-20 books read
    • Category 3: 21 and over books read
  1. The Between the Pages Club reading time frame will begin September 15, 2025 and go through March 15, 2026.
  2. Your review may be selected to be included in one of the Education and Libraries ALMANAC article.
