Update 7/3/23: Operation Smile Needs

Due to upcoming training at Operation Smile – the timeline has changed. if possible bring collected items to Headquarters before July 8 or let Jill McDonald, mcdonald@njsfwc.org, know if you need to meet her somewhere to collect your donations. If you cannot deliver before the 8th, Jill will collect and store until the October trip. Note: Headquarters Office will close Monday, July 3rd and will reopen July 5th from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Jill received 24 backpacks via Fed Ex that she thinks is a club’s donation. No identification with the package, but she’d like to have Op Smile acknowledge this generous donation to the right club or person. Jill can be reached at mcdonald@njsfwc.org

Operation Smile needs our help

Operation Smile has an urgent need for gently used/clean luggage to be used by site staff who are coming to the Virginia Beach Headquarters from their countries in July for training. Suitcases, duffle bags, and backpacks are all acceptable. They will be used by participants to transport materials and supplies gained during the training exercises and classes.

Ed will come to New Jersey in early July to pick up the items I can gather in time for his visit to my home. Others collected – Gil and I will take to Virginia Beach in October when we make our semi-annual run. All suitcases can be brought to Headquarters Monday – Thursday 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. (due to fluctuations in summer scheduling call Headquarters at 732-249-5474) or for more details contact Jill McDonald: mcdonald@njsfwc.org.
