NJSFWC State and District Events Cancelled for March
We’re all concerned about the health of our members and our loved ones. With that in mind, NJSFWC State and District events will be cancelled for the month of March. This includes the remainder of the District Arts/Performing Days* (Garden, Shore, Liberty, Southern and College Districts), as well as the Evening Membership District Spring Conference and NJSFWC Public Issues Day*. (Refunds will be sent to those who pre-registered for Public Issues Day.)
No decision has been made regarding any District or State events in April or May. We’ll be keeping you updated when, and if, any further cancellations become necessary.
A note about Convention registration: Although the deadline for Convention registration has been extended, if you are considering attending Convention, please send your payment and delegate registration form as soon as possible. If NJSFWC is forced to cancel Convention, your payment will be returned. It is important your delegates be registered in the event an alternate form of voting becomes necessary. Registration deadline is now POSTMARKED by April 17 and NO LATE FEES will be charged.
Thank you for your patience as we figure this out!
*As you know, income from Arts Performing Day benefits our Performing Arts Fellowship, the Journalism/English Fellowship, Walt Whitman Library, MacDowell Colony and the Meta Thorne Waters Fellowship. Profit from Public Issues Day benefits our Political Science Fellowship and the Veterans Hospitals in East Orange, Menlo Park, Lyons, Paramus and Vineland. Please consider increasing the corresponding donation on your Continuing Funds form, to offset the loss of these funds.
