NJSFWC Mourns Loss of Executive Director Carol Sas

It is with a heavy heart we share the news that Carol Sas passed away on Tuesday, August 21 with her son Jason and daughter Patti by her side. Although she had been sick over the past year, it is still a shock and a great loss to us on many different levels.

Carol began working as Secretary for NJSFWC in 1980 and rose to Executive Director following the death of Olga Mackaronis in January of 1999.

Carol was that cheerful voice who answered the phone at Federation Headquarters. She was an anchor for both club and State Presidents, ready to share her knowledge of our organization. She was named a Woman of Achievement in 1993. She was a dedicated clubwoman and a friend to us all.

Rest in peace, dear Carol. You will be remembered fondly.
