New President Announces Grand Initiatives

New NJSFWC President Barbara McCloskey has announced her Grand Initiatives for this Administration. Since 2024 is our actual year of celebrating 130 years, 130 is the initiative number for clubs:

  • 130 clubs participate in an Earth Day or Arbor Day project
  • 130 children’s books are collected by each district and donated
  • 130 pinwheel gardens are planted statewide for Prevent Child Abuse Awareness month
  • 1,300 members sign up for the GFWC Legislation Action Center. This is an easy way to follow legislation, and receive important information regarding upcoming bills, including ways to contact your local representative to take action on issues relevant to GFWC Resolutions.

We hope all our clubs will participate and help us meet these goals!
