New ESO* Facebook Group!

Did you know that GFWC has recently launched a kick off campaign to invite GFWC members to the GFWC 2020-2022 ESO Book Club? Check it out!

During this administration there will be monthly book discussions and member chats with featured authors throughout the month and so much more. Group members will also be able to order the featured book or Kindle eBook through a special Amazon discount link. This is a great time to join ESO if you have not done so already!

The first book to be featured in August will be “Bury Me in My Pearls” by Jane Jenkins Herlong who is also the Education and Libraries Honorary Chairman for the 2020-2022 Administration.

Join Jane on Tuesdays to “TALK IT UP” on the ESO Facebook Group:
August 4, 11 & 18 – Q&A with Jane
August 26 – Live interview with Jane
Look for the “TALK IT UP TUESDAY” each week!

WELL READ WEDNESDAYS: Each Wednesday, there will be a book list released for members to review and add to their personal “to be read” list. They will be able to comment about books on the list, giving others insight into the books listed and will connect members from GFWC clubs across the country.

SHARE IT SATURDAYS: Each Saturday, members will find a project idea for Education and Libraries in the GFWC 2020-2022 ESO Book Club Facebook Group. Some posts will even feature a local club and their project – will your club be highlighted? Be sure to share your great project ideas on your official club social media accounts and tag NJSFWC and GFWC!

MAKE IT MONDAYS: During the 2020-2022 Administration, the Education and Libraries challenge project is to complete club projects focusing on STEM Projects with Students with Disabilities. What is STEM? STEM stands for science, technology, engineering and mathematics. There will interviews with special education teachers and students and project ideas that could be customized for your club to partner with your local schools or classrooms.

Look for these upcoming “MAKE IT MONDAY” videos on the ESO Facebook Group:
August 3 – Cloud in a Jar
August 10 – Oil Spill
August 17 – Sticky Note Number match
August 24 – Jellybean Building
Watch for “MAKE IT MONDAYS” STEM project ideas each week!
