GFWC Day

Thank you to Mary Ellen Brock for meeting with us through Zoom to talk about her experiences as the Immediate Past GFWC President. She shared her travelling adventures and talked about living at GFWC Headquarters.

Zoom Workshops

May 3, 2021-10:00 a.m.-There will be a workshop on Understanding Medicare.

Join us on Monday, May 3rd, at 10:00 a.m. for a virtual Zoom workshop to learn about: Medicare basic: Parts A, B, C and D

  • How to get extra benefits
  • Enrollment period
  • How to find the best plan for your lifestyle.

Treasurer’s Workshop

May 19, 2021-10:30 a.m.
The workshop will include:

  • The responsibilities of the Treasurer
  • Dates they should be aware of
  • Explanations of- Charity Registration, Continuing Funds, Blue Sheets, Filing Raffle Licenses and follow-up documentation, 501 C (3) and Filing 990s

This will be a Zoom and in-person meeting. Presidents and Treasurers are encouraged to attend, but all are welcome.

Participate in the GFWC Celebration Banquet Video

If you cannot attend the GFWC Convention in Atlanta, your Club can still participate.

The GFWC Southern Region is honored to be your host for the Celebration Banquet on Friday night, August 27, 2021.

The Region is producing a video of photos that will display on the big screen during dinner to celebrate all of the incredible work you and your Club perform in your community. To be included in the video, email a photo (you can send more than one) before August 1st to Julie Walters, julieharrisonwalters@gmail.com. It would be great to see NJ Clubs represented.

Deadlines

April-30-Honor Roll, Order of the Lily and Women of Achievement Patrons

May-1-Blue (General Clubs), Green (EMD’s) and Yellow (Juniorette Clubs) Sheets due to Headquarters.
If you do not send in a new sheet your information from last year will be used including your membership number. The dues you owe the Federation is based on this number so please make sure to accurately count your paid members.
