Special State Project Northern Fundraiser
Many thanks to everyone who helped make the fundraiser for Operation Chillout a success. It was a wonderful event thanks to Patricia Dahl, Chairman; Vivien Finn, Northern Coordinator; and Janet Oscar and her team for the wonderful food. Thank you to Marie Sullivan for the special Sangria. And then there was everyone who stepped in where needed. Words cannot adequately express my gratitude to everyone who helped out and supported the Special State Project.
Annual Convention
We understand some people are having trouble making a hotel reservation at the Tropicana. We are working on solving this issue so if you are put on hold for over five minutes, are told the block is filled or given a price other than $59 tell them you will call back later and send Susan Fosdick an email, [email protected]. The base cost of the hotel is $59, but the final cost is about $84 after the taxes and fees. Here is the link if you would like to make an online reservation, https://book.passkey.com/go/ST04WC2. Due to the issues with the hotel the deadline to make reservations with out block has been extended to MARCH 30TH.
Resolutions were mailed out yesterday and will be on line latter this week.
Rutgers Food Pantry Thank You
Hi Friend,
I wanted to reach out to thank you for your donation to the Student Food Pantry Rutgers New Brunswick. Donors like you have helped us support food insecure students since 2016. Never was this support needed more than in the past year and a half when over 70,000 lbs. of food were distributed during more than 3000 visits to the pantry. While this academic year is unlike any other, the Student Food Pantry will continue to be a secure source of food to students in need, because of you.
Thanks again,
Kerri Willson, Ed.M.

Girls Career Institute Presenters Wanted
We are looking for women who have reached a professional level in their careers, who would be willing to give two 45–50-minute workshops, at 10:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m., on either Tuesday, June 7th or Wednesday June 8th. Each workshop would have 20-30 Delegates. If schedule allows, presenters are invited to join Delegates and staff for lunch in cafeteria. Delegates want to know what education or background is needed for a career, other things that can be done with a degree, obstacles, pitfalls, and outside influences on career path.
They should contact GCI Director MaryKay Tokar at [email protected] or 201-320-8403.
I’m sure we have several Federation sisters who would be perfect for this.
