No District or State Spelling Bees
This is a reminder that there will not be any Federation sanctioned district or state spelling bees for this administration. Clubs are welcome to hold club bees in their community.
Information on how to hold a club spelling bee may be found on the MATERIALS page under the tab “Education and Libraries.” Scroll down until you find spelling bee information.
NEW THIS YEAR! All instructions are arranged in a Manual for ease of use. There are also Word documents available on the MATERIALS page if you wish to edit them for your own use.

After much discussion by the Executive Committee regarding the NJSFWC Spelling Bee program, only club spelling bees will be held this coming club year. Due to this change, there will be no District Bees or a State Spelling Bee.
Considering how many clubs we have across the state, only two districts held a district bee last year. On that note, we need to do some educating with clubs across the state to encourage more participation and ensure deadlines are followed.
This decision did not come lightly, and we will be working on an action plan to hopefully bring back this long standing program after next year.
