Celebrating International Women’s Day March 8th
CONVENTION VENDORS NEEDED
We are looking for vendors for convention. The vendors will be located right outside the business session. This puts them in a high traffic area as members are going in and out of the business session and they will have an ocean view! If you know anyone interested, they can get more information from Convention Chairman, Patricia Dahl – [email protected].
NOTABLE CLUBWOMEN IN FEDERATION
Barbara Ann Quinn will celebrate 50 years in the Matawan Woman’s Club this year.
Ann was initially attracted to the Matawan Junior Woman’s Club in 1973 because of the work they were doing at that time with Project Head Start and Ann wanted to work on community improvement projects.
Ann was a very active member from the day she joined and that has not changed. She was Director of Junior Clubs from 1982 to 1984. She was President of the Woman’s Club of Matawan from 1986 to 1988. She became State President in 2002 until 2004. Then Ann became President again of the Woman’s Club of Matawan from 2004 until 2015 and again from 2019 until 2022.
Ann is an inspiration to all the members of her club. She is always ready, willing, and able to help with any project. Her years of leadership and service in the club provide a rich history from which our newer members can draw. Ann is always cheerful, pleasant, helpful, and friendly and a real joy to be around. Ann is currently serving at the state level as Parliamentary Consultant to the Board of Directors.
The Woman’s Club of Matawan considers themselves extremely lucky to have a member and a friend like Ann.
