April Is Child Abuse Prevention Month
Our Executive Committee, led by NJSFWC President Barbara McCloskey, planted blue pinwheels at Headquarters to raise awareness and show our commitment to preventing child abuse.
April is National Child Abuse Prevention Month, a time to unite communities, strengthen families, and raise awareness that child abuse is preventable. Focused on the theme “Pinwheels of Possibility,” this month encourages building safe, supportive environments through partnerships, education, and strengthening family supports. Key actions include wearing blue, planting pinwheel gardens, and generally raising awareness.
