An Afternoon at Giverny. Deadline for reservations: February 1.

We have planned an event you won’t want to miss – an Afternoon at Giverny with author Aileen Bordman!

An Author Luncheon featuring Ms. Bordman will be held at the conveniently located Somerville Elks on Thursday February 20, 2020 at 11:30 a.m.

  • Hear suggestions for infusing the beauty of Claude Monet….his art, home and gardens…into your own home and life.
  • Learn about the artist’s lifestyle from an insider with extraordinary access to his beautiful home and gardens at Giverny.

Ms. Bordman, President of Monet’s Palate, Inc., is someone who grew up immersed in the world of Claude Monet, who then applied her passion for Monet as an artist and a gourmand to create the Monet’s Palate® concept and brand. Aileen’s mother, Helen Rappel Bordman, helped restore the gardens at Giverny and has been there in residence each spring since 1980 to welcome guests to Monet’s oasis; a prominently placed plaque at Museum Claude Monet Giverny is a singular honor to Helen Rappel Bordman.

The Monet’s Palate brand includes the books Everyday Monet- A Giverny-Inspired Gardening and Lifestyle Guide to Living Your Best Impressionist Life and Monet’s Palate Cookbook: The Artist & His Kitchen Garden at Giverny which brings Claude Monet’s beloved kitchen garden back to life. Ms. Bordman also created a film on DVD, Monet’s Palate® A Gastronomic View from the Gardens of Giverny – all of which are based on her insider’s firsthand knowledge of Giverny.
