Clubs under the NJSFWC umbrella, as a 501(c)3, must file a 990-form required by the IRS. Deadline is November 15th. Those filing electronically, make sure you receive this message; “You have successfully filed your 990”. Please take a screenshot by pressing “Print Screen” on your computer. Send confirmation of filing to cibelli@njsfwc.org or mail to Headquarters. Thank you to those clubs who have already sent in their confirmations.

This form is for tax-exempt organizations with gross receipts of less than $50,000 per year. Clubs who fail to file for three consecutive years will automatically lose their tax-exempt status. In order to avoid spending extra money and time to be reinstated, do not miss the deadline.

Tips and explanations of the different Financial Forms that need to be filed can be found on the njsfwc.org website. Click on Materials at the top and then choose Treasurer & Financial Information and Forms.
