March 16, 2020

The Special State Project Investigating Committee has completed its task and has selected three finalists for the 2020-2022 Special State Project. The three finalists are:

Embrella (click for description)

NJ Coalition against Human Trafficking (click for description)

Operation Chillout (click for description)

An official ballot was mailed to each club president.

Please schedule time at your next club meeting to read each summary page with your club members, allowing time for discussion before taking the vote for your club’s choice for the 2020-2022 NJSFWC Special State Project. It is my hope that all clubs will participate in the balloting.

In order for your club’s ballot to be counted you must mail the completed ballot, including the necessary signatures to NJSFWC Headquarters, 55 Labor Center Way, New Brunswick, NJ 08901 on or before Monday, March 16, 2020. Please earmark the envelope in the lower left-hand corner: SSP Ballot. Any postmarked after March 16th will be ineligible.

The results of the vote for the 2020-2022 NJSFWC Special State Project will be announced at the President’s Banquet on Tuesday Evening, May 5, 2020 at the NJSFWC Annual Convention in Atlantic City.

Your vote is very important so do not miss this opportunity to cast your ballot.

Thank you to SSP Investigating Committee Chairman Chris Sienkielewski and the committee for their outstanding work over a six-month period.

Jan Hanson
NJSFWC President-Elect
