GFWC Project & Program Overview

The General Federation of Women's Clubs (GFWC) work in six main community service programs. GFWC programs and projects focus on the major issues of our time -supporting women's health, preserving natural resources, promoting literacy and equality, and encouraging volunteer service - and fall into the following areas of focus:

Arts

Conservation

Education

Home Life

In addition to the above program areas, GFWC fosters projects related to Special Programs. These Special Programs enable clubwomen to expand their knowledge and skills, contribute to GFWC's national programs, and be recognized for their achievements.
