Mary Pat Marcello

A 28-year member of the New Jersey State Federation of Women’s Clubs of GFWC, President Marcello has served on the NJSFWC Board of Directors as First Vice President, Second Vice President, Third Vice President, Recording Secretary, Home Life/Social Services Chairman, and acting Girls’ Career Institute Director. She served on the inaugural Membership Task Force, and chaired the subsequent; she has served on the Leadership Development committee, the Bylaws, Finance, Headquarters, Resolutions and Margaret Yardley Fellowship Committees. She has served as a judge for the Annual Woman of Achievement Award. She served 8 years on the Junior Membership Board, ultimately joining the NJSFWC Executive Committee as Director of Junior Clubs.

President Marcello also served on the GFWC Bylaws Committee and the Middle Atlantic Region as Chairman of both the Standing Rules Revision Committee and Nominating Committee. A charter member of the GFWC Bayshore Woman’s Club (Shore District), she has been President, Vice President and Membership Chairman. She was charter President of the GFWC-NJ Past Junior Director’s Club, and is a member of State Ex, Junior Ex, Phoenix Club, Past Presidents Club of the Shore District, Past Junior Presidents Club of the Shore District, and GFWC Lilies. Her name has been placed on both the State Honor Roll and in the Order of the Lily.

She has been employed for 10 years at Central Jersey Blood Center in Shrewsbury, first as donor recruitment supervisor, and currently as administrative assistant to the Executive Director. Mary Pat and her husband of 33 years are the parents of two grown children, who both live out-of-state.
